Just 6 miles from Huttopia Caminos de Galicia campsite, at Lalín you’ll find all the shops you might need during your stay, including bakeries, a petrol station and supermarkets. Don’t miss its local market, which is held on the first and third Sunday of every month, as this is an ideal opportunity to sample the local produce.

Delve into local history by visiting the Municipal Museum in Lalín or Museum of the Galician People in Santiago de Compostela, where you’ll gain an insight into the region’s traditions and crafts. The Monastery of Carboeiro, a historical monument surrounded by nature, or the majestic Cathedral of Santiago, a symbolic landmark in Galicia, are both well worth a visit too.
For a relaxing break, why not head to the thermal baths of Santiago de Compostela, renowned for their hot spring waters, perfect for taking it easy, sheltered from the rain.
