You can easily get to Clermont-Ferrand by bus from the stop located 800 metres from Huttopia Royat campsite. You will also find other essentials nearby: the local tourist information centre, a bank, a bakery, a supermarket and more… Nature at the edge of town!

SUMMER LITTLE TRAPPERS
Each morning in summer (6 days a week) at Huttopia Royat, the 5-12 year olds become Little Trappers as they enjoy fun activities always held out in the heart nature: treasure hunts, wooden hut building, Land’Art, and more!
SPORT AND LEISURE ON SITE
At Huttopia Royat campsite, there is no shortage of opportunities for letting off steam! In addition to the swimming pool, you can take advantage of the pétanque, volley ball and tennis courts. A ping-pong table and table football are also available for frenzied games throughout the day! Or you can hire an electric mountain bike and head out to explore the surrounding area.

AND WHAT CAN WE DO IF IT RAINS?
You can obviously settle back with a book in the Central Lodge or play table football.
For our more curious-minded guests, a number of nice, dry spots are worth a visit. Families can set their sights on Vulcania, the theme park dedicated to learning about Auvergne’s volcanoes.
To relax, opt instead for a day at the Royatonic recreational spa (ages 8 and up). Foodies may choose to visit local farms where they can sample the region’s most famous cheese: Saint Nectaire!

Clermont-Ferrand and the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park
Huttopia Royat campsite is just a short distance from the town centres of Royat and Clermont-Ferrand and just a stone’s throw from the untouched nature of Auvergne’s volcanoes. In just a few minutes, you can reach the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park, the largest of its kind in France. This immense territory, or “Volcanoes Park”, is marked by its volcanic history and by the omnipresence of water.
Mineral springs, natural lakes, whitewater rivers, waterfalls, peat bogs and wetlands all offer the chance to take advantage of natural swimming holes, just a few kilometres away from the campsite.
In the area around Huttopia Royat campsite, explore the dormant volcanoes of Puy de Dôme, Lemptégy and Puy Pariou. On foot, by bike or by car, it’s easy to gain altitude to gaze upon the area’s unique landscapes. A great choice when you want to cool down. In terms of culture, châteaux and listed villages are open to visitors all year long. Visit them for a trip back in time to gain a better understanding of the region’s traditions and know-how.
