Very close to the pretty town of Albi, in the heart of the Tarn, Huttopia Pays de Cordes sur Ciel campsite invites campers to stay in a beautiful natural environment with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the famous listed medieval town of Cordes- sur-Ciel. A holiday destination in the midst of the Gaillac vineyards and the regions of Cordais and Causse. In short, a destination where you can enjoy nature, culture, and a gentle pace of life! On site, there is a heated outdoor pool as well as a paddling pool, a warm Central Lodge, and a friendly food truck. A full activity programme also awaits both children and adults so you can experience an unforgettable holiday!

A HEATED SWIMMING POOL IN THE MIDST OF NATURE

You will love relaxing at the water’s edge, while contemplating the views of the countryside around Cordes sur Ciel.

Huttopia Pays de Cordes sur Ciel campsite boasts a beautiful heated pool and paddling pool. Ideal for taking a dip or splashing about with the kids.

The large wooden deck is furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Just beside it, kids can have fun in the playground or you can enjoy ice creams at the café between two dips in the pool!

As well as the heated swimming pool, you can make the most of the pétanque courts and the multisports ground. A ping-pong table and table football also await you for some lively games throughout the day! Or hire electric mountain bikes to set out and explore the surroundings.

AND WHAT CAN WE DO IF IT RAINS?

You can obviously settle back with a book in the Central Lodge or play table football.

For the adventurous, there are also plenty of ways to enjoy a day out while keeping dry. The surrounding Gaillac vineyards are a paradise for wine lovers. Take the time to sample wines and visit the region’s beautiful wine estates in the company of winegrowers.

For history buffs, the Grotte de Bosc (28km) cave can be visited in any weather. Make the most of the fabulous opportunity to explore this fascinating site and its concretions.

Albi is just 25km away and is also well worth the visit. Its cathedral and interesting museums will keep you busy all day! (especially the collection at the Toulouse Lautrec museum).

In the heart of the Tarn just near Albi, the surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque villages and vineyards that produce the famous Gaillac wines. You can also enjoy active adventures around the campsite with donkey treks, hiking, cycling, and water sports. Whether you’re looking for some intense sport or a gentle stroll, stunning landscapes await you.

Cordes sur Ciel

Travel back into the medieval ages with a stroll through one of the most beautiful villages in France! Soak up the bright and breathtaking panoramas and unique architecture. A fine example of Gothic art, steeped in history, where artists and craftsmen express themselves beautifully.

(26 km) Go on a unique journey through time at Penne fortress. Weathered by time, the castle is now being refurbished with construction work using medieval techniques. The workers are even dressed in period clothing! Go on a journey back through the centuries as you visit them at work.
