This winter, enjoy a nature and comfort getaway in our various wooden chalets at Huttopia Val Cenis, nestled between Bramans and Le Verney, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park. After a day on the slopes or snowshoeing, relax in the warmth of a wooden chalet and share convivial moments over a raclette or fondue.
MONTANA VISTA CHALET

Stay in a spacious, bright wooden chalet thanks to its large glass doors opening onto an 11m² covered terrace with mountain views. The cosy interior, complete with wood stove, offers a welcoming living area, a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, toaster), a dining area, a bathroom with shower and toilet, one bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with bunk beds (double bed below, single bed above), and a mezzanine with a double bed (accessed by a wooden ladder).

AMBIN CHALET

Enjoy a warm stay in a rustic chalet with mountain charm, perfect for sharing simple moments with family or friends. The Ambin Chalet features a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed (two extra beds), a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, sink, hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, crockery), a bathroom with shower and sink, and a separate toilet. Lovely terrace opening out onto nature.

For a hassle-free ski holiday, take advantage of the free shuttles that take you straight to the slopes.
- Val Cenis Alpine ski area: The B2 shuttle drops you off in Termignon, right at the foot of the ski lifts. In just a few minutes, you’ll reach 125 km of slopes and make the most of the ski area.
- Val d’Ambin Nordic ski area: : From Val Cenis, a free shuttle takes you to the Planay plateau. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and breathtaking views of the Vanoise await you.
These practical services make it easy to get to the slopes, for a simple, quick, and responsible mountain holiday.
SKIING IN VAL CENIS – SAVOIE
Go skiing in Val Cenis, in the heart of Savoie. Nestled in the Haute Maurienne Vanoise, this family-friendly resort combines the authenticity of Alpine villages with an exceptional ski area. Alpine skiing – 125 km of slopes for everyone
Stay at Huttopia Val Cenis and enjoy an ideal location in the heart of Haute Maurienne, between family resorts and large ski areas. With 125 km of slopes spread across Lanslebourg, Lanslevillard and Termignon, Val Cenis appeals to all levels, from beginners to experienced skiers.
- Varied slopes for all abilities: 17 green, 21 blue, 22 red and 5 black runs
- Guaranteed quality snow between 1,300 and 2,800 metres altitude, enhanced by the famous Italian “retours d’est”
- Modern and efficient infrastructure: 29 ski lifts, freeride zones, snowpark, boardercross, “Val Cenis Turbo” toboggan run (900 m), snowtubing run and fun areas for children
- Breathtaking views from the “La Canopée des Cimes” platform, perched at 2,800 m, with views of the Vanoise National Park, Lake Mont Cenis and the Italian Alps
From the campsite, you can easily reach the ski area thanks to the free B2 shuttle which takes you directly to the Termignon ski lifts.
For a change of scene and a more intimate setting, you can also discover the smaller, family-friendly resort of Aussois, ideal for beginners, families with children or those looking for a more peaceful and friendly skiing experience.
Cross-country skiing – nearby Nordic ski areas
The Val d’Ambin Nordic area
Located between 1,230 and 1,800 metres altitude, the Val d’Ambin Nordic area includes the Bramans and Planay plateaus. It offers 29 km of free trails accessible to all levels. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and groomed walking trails await you in a magnificent setting facing the Vanoise glaciers.
Not to be missed:
- The Saint-Pierre d’Extravache church, the oldest in the Maurienne
- The 60-metre Himalayan footbridge, opened in 2023, suspended nearly 100 metres above the Ambin gorges, leading to two spectacular viewpoints.
The Monolithe Nordic area
(Aussois – Val Cenis Sardières)
39 km of sun-drenched trails, dominated by an impressive 93-metre-high cargneule monolith.
Perfect for all abilities:
• Varied trails (2 green, 3 blue, 3 red, 1 black) suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers
• Fun experience with laser biathlon introductions supervised by instructors
• Friendly atmosphere at the Nordic chalet (picnic room, “Le Mag d’Oé” restaurant and its sunny terrace)
Just 15 minutes’ walk from the village of Sardières (or accessible by shuttle).
Ski touring – marked and secure routes
Experience the adventure of ski touring in Val Cenis, a thrilling and authentic experience in a preserved Alpine setting!
In Val Cenis, ski touring is particularly highlighted, with several marked and secure routes:
- Soday route (Termignon): 680 m elevation gain – about 1 hour ascent, descent via the blue Forestière and Girardière runs.
- Les Chalets de l’Arcelle (Lanslevillard): 590 m elevation gain – 1.5 hours ascent, orange waymarking, return via the pistes.
- Col du Mont-Cenis (La Ramasse): 680 m elevation gain – about 2 hours ascent, descent via the red La Ramasse or the green l’Escargot run.
These routes are perfect for discovering the discipline or training in complete safety. For the more experienced, local guides also offer off-piste and freeride outings in untouched areas. As always in the mountains, safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) is essential.
