In the village of Fontvieille there are all sorts of shops (bakeries, bank, supermarket, etc.). If you go out the gate at the back of the campsite, it’s only a few minutes’ walk away! There is also a post office, and lots of cafes and restaurants…

Huttopia Fontvieille Campsite offers two outdoor pools, one of which is heated, and a paddling pool for toddlers. Surrounded by a large terrace with deckchairs, you can bask in the sunshine and contemplate the surrounding pine trees, take a refreshing dip, or splash about with the kids in the paddling pool…
Located right next to the Central Lodge, the swimming pool is also bordered by the Restaurant terrace where you can treat yourselves to cool drinks and delicious ice creams.

Guided Tour of the Bedarrides Oil Mill
Discover one of the oldest mills in the region with Daniel, a well-loved character in the village. You’ll wander through the olive grove and see a Provençal farmhouse and the mill before attending a tasting session under the olive trees.
Introduction to Fretwork
Try your hand at this decorative art form using wood and take your creation home with you. This activity invites you to cultivate your creativity, from the choice of design to the painting of your piece and, of course, the cutting stage.
Experience magical moments at Huttopia’s evening events, which take place throughout July and August: concerts, magic shows, plays, open-air film screenings and more. There’s something to suit all tastes and all ages!

Walks and forest games
At the top of Huttopia Fontvieille Campsite, there is so much to explore! Children will love going on adventures, climbing over the rocks or playing hide and seek. Or you can go for a gentle stroll with baby through the shade of the pine forest, amidst the song of the cicadas.

Each morning in summer (6 days a week) at Huttopia Fontvieille, the 5-12 year olds become Little Trappers as they enjoy fun activities always held out in the heart nature: treasure hunts, wooden hut building, Land’Art, and more!
At Huttopia Fontvieille campsite, you can have fun with friends playing pétanque on the court next to the Restaurant terrace. After a dip in the swimming pool, you can also play table tennis or hire mountain bikes or electric mountain bikes to explore the surroundings. Or why not make the most of the picnic area for an outdoor meal on the wooden tables ?

You can read a book in the Central Lodge and play table football of course.
But it is also the ideal opportunity to visit one of the area’s many museums or monuments: Montauban castle in Fontvieille puts on exhibitions in the summertime, and Montmajour Abbey, which is listed as a National Monument, is located on the road to Arles, where you can also visit many other ancient monuments.
Head to St Rémy de Provence to stroll through the lanes or do a spot of shopping after visiting the Alpilles museum!
Avignon and its Palais des Papes are also an absolute must-see, whether in the sun… or the rain!

The Alpilles Regional Park and the Provence
Huttopia Fontvieille campsite is located within the park, which boasts sixteen typically Provençal villages, limestone mountains, rising up to 498 metres altitude, more than 120 rare or protected species of animals, and 110 listed historic monuments. The setting is known for the diversity of its landscapes, its local products and its Provençal art of living. It is also a paradise for ramblers and mountain bikers.
Each village in the Alpilles has its own identity: Fontvieille and its mills, Baux-de-Provence and its castle; St-Rémy and its little lanes; Eygalières perched on its rocky outcrop; Mouriès and its olive groves….Huttopia Fontvieille campsite is also the ideal base camp for discovering the architectural, cultural and culinary heritage of the Provence: situated just a few miles from Arles and Avignon, but also at the gateway to the Camargue, there is much to discover.
