From 1 November 2021, any vehicle travelling in mountainous areas must be fitted with winter tyres or have snow chains in order to avoid risks on snowy roads.

Mijoux - La Faucille

26 km

A family-friendly resort where kids and adults alike can progress at their own pace on the 15km of runs lined with spruce trees and enjoy one of the best panoramas in Europe – a stunning view of the Alps and Mont Blanc.

Lélex-Crozet

35 km

A favourite among intermediate to the most advanced skiers, the resort of Lélex-Crozet in the Monts Jura area offers no less than 30km of runs, with good vertical drops (900m). Its guaranteed snow cover and range of untouched spots are sure to keep snowboarders and free-riders satisfied.

The Jura mountains offer one of the most scenic French cross-country skiing areas with the Vattay-Valserine Resort linked to the Divonne municipality. Fully dedicated to Nordic skiing, its almost 150kms of groomed trails stretch from the Vattay Plateau to the Valserine Valley, running along the edge of the river.
