For swimming, head to Le Treuil beach 500 m away or the sandy beach at Vert Bois 900 m away. Vert Bois beach is lifeguarded in the summertime so you can swim in safety.

Discover the campsite’s beehives through an introduction to beekeeping, observe the bees in action and their journey from flower to honey production.

Each morning in summer (6 days a week) at Huttopia Oléron les Chênes Verts, the 5-12 year olds become Little Trappers as they enjoy fun activities always held out in the heart nature: treasure hunts, wooden hut building, Land’Art, and more!

Bordered by the sea to the east and west, Dolus d’Oléron will appeal to lovers of nature and heritage. Alongside the ocean, you can enjoy a succession of sublime sandy beaches bordered by pine and oak forests. Further inland, you can discover the island’s salt marshes, oyster farms, and ancient wetlands which are home to a variety of flora and fauna.
