A cross between a tent and a chalet, this unusual accommodation offers the chance to sleep comfortably under canvas on the upper level and spend time in a wooden cabin on the ground floor during the day, with all the convenience of a pretty lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. The Cahuttes are located in the lower part, just up from the Central Lodge. From their decks, you get an excellent view of the surrounding natural scenery.

At Huttopia Condrieu, enjoy simple and friendly cuisine, showcasing local products and wines, in a warm setting.

Start the day gently on the sunny terrace with a delicious breakfast: hot drinks, bread and pastries to enjoy facing nature. Every morning, also enjoy fresh bread and pastries delivered straight from the local bakery.

THE POOLS

Enjoy a moment of relaxation at Huttopia Pays de Condrieu, with stunning views of the hills of the Rhône Valley. The swimming area offers two pools: a covered and heated pool, perfect for swimming all year round with a secure paddling pool for the little ones, and an outdoor pool to cool off in the sun.

Located just below the Central Lodge, this area becomes the central hub of your days. Settle into a sun lounger, breathe in the fresh air and admire the exceptional panorama. Between panoramic views and peaceful atmosphere, the swimming area is ideal for relaxing and fully enjoying your nature stay.

THE FOREST SPA

Nestled on the heights, the Forest Spa at Huttopia Pays de Condrieu offers total relaxation in the heart of nature. Enjoy two bright wooden saunas thanks to large windows: each session becomes a unique moment, blending warmth and views of the outdoors. On the raised terrace, a Finnish hot tub invites you to relax. Sun loungers in the shade of cherry trees and wooden paths connect the different areas, creating an intimate and natural atmosphere.

To prolong the well-being, the massage tent welcomes you for treatments in complete privacy. Here, relaxation is experienced at nature’s pace, to enhance your Huttopia stay.

Equipped with your explorer bag, follow the clues, solve puzzles and discover the final chest, all in complete autonomy. Each Hutto’Quest tells an original story, inspired by local heritage, to explore the campsite and nature from a new perspective. Start the adventure whenever you want, at your own pace, and be surprised at each step.

An ideal place for children to have fun and let off steam. With structures adapted to all ages, swings, slides and climbing games, little adventurers can climb, explore and have fun in complete safety.

Paddling pool

For a refreshing break, head to the paddling pool! This shallow and secure pool allows toddlers to have fun in the water in complete peace, under parental supervision.

THE LITTLE TRAPPERS IN SUMMER (5-12 YEARS)

Every summer, 6 days out of 7, children aged 5 to 12 become Little Trappers and take part in fun activities in the heart of nature: treasure hunts, building huts, Land Art… For the youngest, a Mini Trapper pack is available for self-service with board games and adventure games, to have fun at their own pace.

Located south of Lyon, where the Loire and Isère rivers meet the Plateau Ardèchois, the Pays de Condrieu is a land of gastronomy, known for its local specialities. As well as its world-renowned wines, discover the flavours of the Monts du Pilat and the treasures grown in the surrounding area.

Here, the landscape is a mix of plains planted with fruits and vegetables, orchards and terraced vineyards. Lovers of wide open spaces will enjoy the diverse landscapes and remarkable views in the Pilat Regional Natural Park, which you can explore using the many hiking trails. Just a few kilometres away lies Vienne, the former capital of Roman Gaul, where you can see remains of this ancient civilisation dating back more than 2,500 years.

Vienne and its ancient heritage

Awarded the status of ‘Town of Art and History’, this former ancient city boasts remarkable Gallo-Roman and medieval heritage and is located just 20 minutes away from the campsite.
The must-sees: the ancient theatre, Saint Maurice Cathedral, Saint-André-le-Bas Cloister and the Temple of Augustus and Livia.

Saint-Romain-en-Gal Gallo-Roman museum

Once a district of the ancient city of Vienna, this archaeological site reveals over 2,000 years of history. It contains the remains of many homes, businesses and baths from the Roman era. The museum houses a large collection of mosaics and many activities are held there throughout the year.

Vienne market

On Saturdays, head to the second largest market in France to discover all the region’s specialities and meet fruit and vegetable growers, cheesemakers, charcutiers and other local producers. Specialities not to be missed: Burlat cherries, Williams pears, Rigotte de Condrieu cheese and Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu wines.

Confiture Bruneton

Sample the creations of the best jam maker in France! Philippe Bruneton showcases the local terroir by selecting the region’s best fruits to go into his world-renowned jams. His blackcurrants come from Isère, his white peaches from the Coteau du Jarret, his redcurrants from the Monts du Lyonnais, his pears from Pilat, etc.

Charterhouse of Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez

This fortress-like former monastery, inhabited until 1794, has been transformed into a small village of many treasures: murals, choir stalls, fortified façades… The ideal place to taste the famous Chartreuse liqueur made from over 130 different plants.

Crêt de l’Oeillon

At an altitude of 1,370m, this crest provides a glorious view of the mountains, from Mont Blanc to the Trois Becs. You can continue the experience by following the Sentier des Crêts trail to the highest point in the Pilat massif: Crêt de la Perdrix.

Mont Monnet

Enjoy a remarkable view of the Rhône and Gier valleys from 700m up. You’ll also find a small chapel here with a statue of the Virgin Mary.
