At Huttopia Lanmary Village, you can swim in any season thanks to the two wonderful outdoor pools, one of which is heated.

Take some time to relax on one of the deckchairs on the raised deck with its spectacular view of the forest.

Nestled in a cocoon of nature, meet up for a moment of true relaxation at the forest spa. In the heart of the forest, you will find saunas in small wooden huts, a Nordic hot tub and sun loungers to relax in the shade of the trees…

Here, you can disconnect from the outside world and totally let go!

The Périgord, steeped in heritage, nature, and gastronomy

At Huttopia Lanmary Village, you can stay in the heart of a forest, near the many treasures of the Périgord and the Dordogne. With its majestic nature, unique heritage and fine cuisine, a trip to the Périgord is the ideal opportunity to combine sports, contemplation, and culinary delights.

 

Here, you can explore the Dordogne River by canoe, discover the prehistoric heritage of the region’s caves (including the famous Lascaux caves) and visit quaint villages which display the charms of yesteryear at every twist and turn of their cobblestone streets…

In terms of regional products, Périgord’s cuisine is best enjoyed on site whilst visiting small producers who will be delighted to have your sample their specialities such as truffles, foie gras, duck magret, wines and more besides.

Périgueux

Explore Périgueux and discover its unique history and heritage. Visit the Gallo-Roman ruins at the Vesunna museum and the Tower of Vesunna, a symbol of the old Petrocori city, and then make your way to the Périgord Museum of Art and Archaeology. Stroll along medieval streets, admire homes dating back to the Renaissance and be sure to check out the superb Saint-Front Cathedral, a listed historic monument with astonishing Byzantine features! A town brimming with history…

Lascaux Caves

Follow in the footsteps of cavemen as you tour the famous Lascaux caves. Located in Montignac, in the Vézère Valley, a replica of the original cave lays bare all the secrets of its prehistoric paintings in six exhibition rooms. The ideal place to visit with the kids!

The Périgord Vert and Périgord-Limousin Regional Park

Head to the Périgord Vert and the Périgord-Limousin Regional Park! Visit the beautiful Brantôme Abbey and its village (24 km), nicknamed “the Venice of the Périgord”. Château de Bourdeilles (25 km) with its medieval fortress and castle keep are also well worth exploring. A few miles away, you can meander through the cobblestone streets of Saint-Jean-de-Côle (27 km) and admire the charm of this village, named one of the most beautiful in France!

Sarlat-la-Canéda and Château de Beynac

As the capital of the Périgord Noir, Sarlat-la-Canéda is a must-see on any trip to the region. This town, classified for its Art & History, boasts a world-renowned heritage and is home to many historic monuments that you can visit. A sumptuous mediaeval town where the art of living, fine cuisine and heritage blend fabulously together. Make the most of your trip to Sarlat to visit Château de Beynac, just a few miles away: a fortified castle perched on the clifftops!

Eyrignac gardens

Come and discover the Périgord’s most beautiful gardens! At the superb Eyrignac gardens, 10 hectares of plant sculptures await you. This beautiful natural site is ideal to explore as a family, with its formal gardens, rose gardens, countless flowers and kitchen gardens surrounding the 17th century manor.

Cap-Blanc Rock Shelter

Admire one of the greatest masterpieces of palaeolithic sculpture, listed as UNESCO World Heritage. This prehistoric rock shelter is home to a majestic sculpture of animals. You can spot bison, reindeer, bears and horses as you walk the length of this one-of-a-kind bestiary! Carved using flint, these sculptures date all the way back to the Magdalenian period (between 12,000 and 17,000 years ago!).

Hiking in the Périgord

Lanmary Forest and the Périgord Vert offer a multitude of options for fantastic hikes. You can explore the forest, admire unique vistas and marvel at remnants of history along your way. And if you’re interested in a walk by the water’s edge, there are also lovely walks along the banks of the Isle in Antonne-et-Trigonnant.

Cycling and mountain biking in the forest

Explore the surroundings by bike from Huttopia Lanmary Village! From just outside Périgueux (Trélissac) to the border with Gironde (Le Pizou), the Véloroute Voie Verte de la Vallée de l’Isle (V90) provides more than 100 km of riverside cycle paths for you to explore. You can also opt for a mountain biking excursion by hiring one of the electric mountain bikes available at the Village!

Go on an unforgettable canoeing trip down the Isle, Auvézère or Dordogne! In the centre of the village of Antonne-et-Trigonnant (5 km), you will find a bakery and a few restaurants and shops. Thirteen kilometres away, Périgueux has all the amenities you need, including supermarkets, banks, a tourist information centre, a train station and more. And if you want to sample the many local specialities, you absolutely must stop at the market in Périgueux or the shops featuring small-scale producers.
