In the heart of Lanmary forest, the campsite invites you to experience an authentic stay, in perfect harmony with nature. Set up on spacious and semi-shaded pitches, nestled in a preserved forest environment. Exclusively reserved for tent campers and located in a pedestrian area, these pitches are sheltered from all vehicle traffic (cars, vans, motorhomes and caravans), ideal for recharging with family or friends.

Parking is located at the campsite entrance, and trolleys are at your disposal to easily transport your belongings to your pitch.

TWO OUTDOOR POOLS

Enjoy two outdoor pools, one of which is heated, to cool off or relax depending on the season. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation on one of the sun loungers on the stilted terrace, with a spectacular view of the forest. The little ones can have fun safely in the paddling pool integrated into the heated pool. An ideal place to meet up with family or friends, in the heart of nature.

THE FOREST SPA

Nestled in a cocoon of nature, meet up at the Forest Spa for a real moment of relaxation. In the heart of the forest, saunas in small wooden cabins, a Finnish bath and sun loungers await you to relax in the shade of the trees… Here, you completely disconnect and breathe!

Enjoy the spa for €10 per hour, a single rate for two groups bringing together up to 8 people – access reserved for over 16s.

Every day in summer (6 days out of 7), 5-12 year olds become Little Trappers during fun activities always organized in the great outdoors: treasure hunts, hut building, Land Art… A Mini Trapper pack is also available for self-service for the little ones with board games and adventure games.

Hiking in Périgord

Lanmary forest and green Périgord offer a multitude of hiking possibilities on foot. Explore the forest, admire unique viewpoints and vestiges of history along the way. Pretty walks will also take you around the Isle at Antonne and Trigonnant to walk along the water.

Bike or mountain bike ride in the forest

From Huttopia Lanmary, explore the surroundings by bike! From Périgueux (Trélissac) to the Gironde border (Le Pizou), the Isle Valley Greenway Cycle Route (V90) allows you to cover more than 100 km by bike along the river. You can also opt for a mountain bike outing in the forest thanks to the electric mountain bike for rent on site!

Canoe trip

On the Isle, Auvézère or Dordogne, set off for an unforgettable canoe descent! Périgord reveals its richness with the current: its castles and monuments, its prehistoric heritage, its abundant nature and its typical villages… An original way to admire the preserved landscapes of the region.

The Isle Cycle Route

From Périgueux to Montpon-Ménestérol, on the Gironde border, explore the Isle Valley greenway cycle route! On foot or by bike, the walk takes you to meet majestic nature and landscapes. Historic sites (castles, abbeys, churches…) and discovery of Périgord gastronomy will also be part of the journey.

In Périgueux, two treasure hunt routes are offered for families. A great geocaching game (a connected treasure hunt) to make you discover the city’s must-sees and its many secrets.

The Périgord, steeped in heritage, nature, and gastronomy

At Huttopia Lanmary campsite, you can stay in the heart of a forest, near the many treasures of the Périgord and the Dordogne. With its majestic nature, unique heritage and fine cuisine, a trip to the Périgord is the ideal opportunity to combine sports, contemplation, and culinary delights.

 

Here, you can explore the Dordogne River by canoe, discover the prehistoric heritage of the region’s caves (including the famous Lascaux caves) and visit quaint villages which display the charms of yesteryear at every twist and turn of their cobblestone streets…

In terms of regional products, Périgord’s cuisine is best enjoyed on site whilst visiting small producers who will be delighted to have your sample their specialities such as truffles, foie gras, duck magret, wines and more besides.

Périgueux

13 km

Explore Périgueux and discover its unique history and heritage. Visit the Gallo-Roman ruins at the Vesunna museum and the Tower of Vesunna, a symbol of the old Petrocori city, and then make your way to the Périgord Museum of Art and Archaeology. Stroll along medieval streets, admire homes dating back to the Renaissance and be sure to check out the superb Saint-Front Cathedral, a listed historic monument with astonishing Byzantine features! A town brimming with history…

Lascaux Caves

46 km

Follow in the footsteps of cavemen as you tour the famous Lascaux caves. Located in Montignac, in the Vézère Valley, a replica of the original cave lays bare all the secrets of its prehistoric paintings in six exhibition rooms. The ideal place to visit with the kids!

The Périgord Vert and Périgord-Limousin Regional Park

25 km

Head to the Périgord Vert and the Périgord-Limousin Regional Park! Visit the beautiful Brantôme Abbey and its village (24 km), nicknamed “the Venice of the Périgord”. Château de Bourdeilles (25 km) with its medieval fortress and castle keep are also well worth exploring. A few miles away, you can meander through the cobblestone streets of Saint-Jean-de-Côle (27 km) and admire the charm of this village, named one of the most beautiful in France!

Sarlat-la-Canéda and Château de Beynac

70 – 75 km

As the capital of the Périgord Noir, Sarlat-la-Canéda is a must-see on any trip to the region. This town, classified for its Art & History, boasts a world-renowned heritage and is home to many historic monuments that you can visit. A sumptuous mediaeval town where the art of living, fine cuisine and heritage blend fabulously together. Make the most of your trip to Sarlat to visit Château de Beynac, just a few miles away: a fortified castle perched on the clifftops!

Eyrignac gardens

Come and discover the Périgord’s most beautiful gardens! At the superb Eyrignac gardens, 10 hectares of plant sculptures await you. This beautiful natural site is ideal to explore as a family, with its formal gardens, rose gardens, countless flowers and kitchen gardens surrounding the 17th century manor.

Admire one of the greatest masterpieces of palaeolithic sculpture, listed as UNESCO World Heritage. This prehistoric rock shelter is home to a majestic sculpture of animals. You can spot bison, reindeer, bears and horses as you walk the length of this one-of-a-kind bestiary! Carved using flint, these sculptures date all the way back to the Magdalenian period (between 12,000 and 17,000 years ago!).
