You can learn all about this passionate past on the “Sardine trail”. Allow yourself to be swept away by the Bay of Douarnenez with its majestic fine sandy beaches and sublime landscapes which you can enjoy during a host of outdoor activities. And if you prefer to simply wander the streets, why not admire the beautiful fishermen’s houses and breathe in the fresh sea air..

The site is home to a unique natural and archaeological heritage, which can be discovered during a beautiful walk taking in the Roman ruins and leading all the way of the Plage du Ris beach.
