NATURE AND RURAL HERITAGE THROUGHOUT THE SEASONS

In the heart of the Jura mountains, nature abounds… There are all sorts of ways to explore the surrounding landscapes and discover the rural heritage.

Walks

Walk you like to challenge yourself and to drink in the spectacular scenery? Set off for a hike along the ridges of the Monts Jura. The different peaks offer jaw-dropping views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains. If you’d like to push yourself, you can hike up Grand Mont Rond (1473 m altitude) or the Crêt de la Neige (1718 m). There are also lots of pretty walks around the campsite, including Rianmont chapel, La Dôle, Mont Mussy and Mont Mourex.

DVBeach

DVBeach, the Divonne-les-Bains water sports and leisure centre, welcomes you all summer long for moments of relaxation and fun with family or friends. Enjoy the beach with supervised swimming, the Wibit aquatic course and paddle board, pedal boat and canoe rentals.

Tastings and gastronomy

Bleu de Gex, Swiss fondue, Comté, Morbier, Mont d’Or… Visit one of the many cheese cellars, cooperatives and cheese dairies to taste the delicious local cheeses. Other culinary specialties: double cream meringue, Lake Geneva perch and Jura wines are renowned throughout the Jura mountains and delight the finest gourmets. The Restaurant des Bergers, 5 minutes from Divonne, serves delicious homemade cheese specialties in a very cosy and authentic atmosphere. A must-try!

Ideal for a family walk, a picnic break or a bike ride, the loop around the lake (6 km) offers superb panoramas and magnificent sunsets. Swimming is subject to a fee. Nearby, Forest Land park offers mini-golf and outdoor activities for young and old. A lively and natural place, perfect for adding variety to your stay at Huttopia Divonne-les-Bains.

You can also take a stroll around its parks, fairs, flea markets and farmers markets and discover the local produce…

Voltaire's château

In the town of Ferney-Voltaire, 30 minutes from the campsite, you can learn all about the Age of Enlightenment by visiting the home where Voltaire spent a large part of his life. Col de la Faucille

Fort l'Ecluse
