At what age can you go camping with a child?

You can camp with a child from the earliest age. Huttopia campsites are designed to welcome families, whether you’re traveling with a baby, young children, or teenagers. Many families choose Huttopia for their first experience with a very young child, thanks to the peaceful atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, and safety of our natural spaces. The key is to respect your child’s rhythm and choose accommodation suited to your needs.

Where to go camping with children?

Huttopia means choosing the great outdoors for the whole family! Our campsites are ideally located in nature: in the mountains, forest, by a lake or the ocean… You’ll find secure spaces and numerous facilities designed for children everywhere. Want an active holiday? All our destinations offer a multitude of activities for young and old in a preserved natural environment.

Can you rent a baby kit at the campsites?

Yes, to make your stay easier, Huttopia offers baby kit rental at all campsites. The kit includes a folding cot and high chair. The kit is free all year round except in July and August, subject to availability. Remember to book it when making your reservation or before arrival.

What activities can you do with children at the campsite?

Children will never run out of activities during your Huttopia camping holiday. Summer activities are free or reasonably priced and accessible for young and old. They can also enjoy the “Little Trappers” program once a day in summer (for ages 5-12). Very young children can share nature and craft activities with their parents at the central lodge. Finally, teenagers can meet during weekly evenings reserved for them to make new friends with whom they can do activities. Don’t forget to explore the region as a family and enjoy child-friendly attractions with advice from our on-site teams.

How to keep children occupied in bad weather during holidays?

Even in bad weather, children of all ages won’t get bored at Huttopia. Head to the central lodge to enjoy spaces for playing, reading or drawing, as well as board games and books available in the library corner. Depending on the sites, indoor activities and entertainment are also offered during summer. And for variety, enjoy our indoor pools or explore the surroundings: museums, caves, aquariums…
