At low tide, shellfish gatherers go to the foreshore to collect clams, cockles, winkles and wild oysters. Experience this fun, family-friendly activity with the members of the local shellfish gatherers’ association.
Pony ride
Go on a pony ride from the campsite to the sea shore to admire Noirmoutier island’s beautiful beaches.
Visit the salt marshes
The salt marshes of Noirmoutier form a mosaic of pools that make for a unique and enchanting landscape. Salt producers extract the ‘white gold’ using very old traditional processes and techniques. Learn about this activity, one the island is known for, with Dylan and his family.
