The Huttopia La Clarée Chalets are situated in a beautiful valley just a few kilometres from the Montgenèvre ski resort. Get away from the hustle and bustle in your own private chalet with panoramic views of the surrounding snowy peaks. If you love cross-country skiing, then you’re in luck! You can join the trails straight from your doorstep and head off to the Val-des-Prés ski resort.

The Montana chalets at Huttopia La Clarée offer a warm and comfortable setting! Opt for a wooden chalet in the midst of nature for your next snow holiday in the heart of La Clarée valley. After a fabulous cross-country skiing session, curl up around the fire or tuck into a hearty raclette!

The chalet has a main room with a well-equipped kitchen and a living area with a wood-burning stove and dining table.
The sleeping area is made up of a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a pair of single bunk beds and a pull-out bed or a pair of bunk beds with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top.
The chalet also has a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

KEEP SAFE: EQUIP YOUR CAR!

To travel safe, make sure you have snow chains or winter tyres!
From 1 November 2021, any vehicle travelling in mountainous areas must be fitted with winter tyres or have snow chains in order to avoid risks on snowy roads.

DOWNHILL SKIING

Montgenèvre

10 km

At the international resort of Montgenèvre you can ski between the Grand Montgenèvre area and Les Monts de la Lune. In total these two ski areas offer over 400 kilometres of slopes.
Also known as the Via Lattea (Milky Way), the area not only offers downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, but also a Snow Park and an ice rink. You’ll be spoilt for choice of activities!

Serre Chevalier

15km/20 mins away

This ski area in the Ecrins mountains is one of the biggest in Europe. In total, it has over 80 runs at all difficulty levels, 59 ski lifts and 80% of the ski area over 2,000m in altitude for an optimal level of snow cover all season long.

NORDIC SKIING AND SKI TOURING

Ski touring

Discover the valleys, mountain passes and peaks of La Clarée valley on touring skis. Climb the mountains with skins on your skis and then hurtle back down again!
For even more of an adventure, set off for several days, staying in a refuge around Mont Thabor!

Névache

With its 45 km of groomed slopes, the Névache cross-country ski area is ideal for learning and having fun as a family with its green and blue slopes. For even more of a challenge and adrenaline-fuelled thrills, you can take on the red or black slopes!

Snowshoeing

How about a winter walk in the heart of a pristine winter wonderland? Snowshoeing offers you a guaranteed change of scenery, be it the upper Clarée valley and the Col de l’Échelle setting out from Névache or the Granon chalets setting out from Val-des-Prés.

Névache

Are you a cross-country ski lover? There are 13 km of cross-country skiing routes at the foot of the Montgenèvre pass, which are accessible from the campsite. Ski through quaint villages or set off into the forests. There is something for all levels, from beginners to seasoned skiers.
