At Huttopia Domaine du Lac, everyone’s comfort is essential. The modern washroom facilities, located behind the Canadienne Plus tents, meet the needs of campers without private bathrooms: four showers (including one accessible shower), three toilets, dishwashing sinks, washbasins, and a baby area. Next door, the Bivouac area allows you to wash dishes outdoors in a friendly atmosphere.

The Maison Ronde was designed as a large living space that invites conviviality and contemplation. From the entrance, you discover a vast light-filled space, organized around its original retro bar, witness to the place’s history. There are tables to settle in at different times of the day, a lounge area to meet up, chat or simply observe the landscape. Thanks to its panoramic bay window, the Maison Ronde offers 180° views of the lake. Here, everything invites you to slow down: sit down for breakfast, read a book facing the lake, share a board game or extend the evening over an aperitif. Upstairs, the rooms spread over two levels, in an atypical and elegant atmosphere, true to the character of the place.

Designed in the late 1960s by visionary architect Jean-Louis Chanéac, it embodies the architectural boldness of its era. For several years it hosted UFOVAL holiday camps, marking the memory of many families who came to discover Lake Aiguebelette, the great outdoors and collective living. At Huttopia Domaine du Lac, swimming is at the heart of your stay. From the campsite, dive directly into the turquoise waters of Lake Aiguebelette, one of Europe’s warmest natural lakes with an average temperature of 27°C in summer! The private grass beach is perfect for relaxing in the sun, while children can enjoy the water in complete safety.
Reserved for boats without motors, the lake also invites you to enjoy gentle water activities: paddle boarding, pedal boating or simply gliding across the water, in a peaceful and unspoiled setting. Facing the Maison Ronde, the pontoons offer moments of contemplation with your feet in the water, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake’s changing reflections.

LITTLE TRAPPERS IN SUMMER (5-12 YEARS)
A unique activity programme awaits 5 to 12 year olds at Huttopia Domaine du Lac, supervised by our passionate activity leaders. Every day (except Saturday) in July-August, children become real adventurers through outdoor activities: building huts and rafts, Land Art, treasure hunts, creating objects with natural elements… For the youngest, board games and adventure kits are available on a self-service basis at reception or at the Community Centre.

Montagne de l’Épine – Ridge trail
A more sporty and wild route, distinguished by its long ridge sections and open panoramas. The view of the lake is ever-present and the atmosphere more alpine, perfect for experienced hikers.
Mont du Chat Belvedere
This short hike provides quick access to an exceptional viewpoint over Lake Aiguebelette and Lake Bourget. It’s an ideal outing for a half-day or end of day, with no technical difficulty.
Croix du signal – Épine range
