We know that no two campers camp the same! But whether you like camping as a couple or with the whole clan, in a tent, a caravan or your motorhome, there’s sure to be a pitch for you on the 5.5 hectares of Huttopia Ars-en-Ré.
At Huttopia Ars-en-Ré, there are three toilet and shower areas suitable for use by all campers. A baby bathing room is provided for families. Our toilet and shower facilities are also accessible to people with reduced mobility.

You can find all the shops you’ll need during your holiday at the village of Ars-en-Ré 2km away from the campsite: bakery, supermarket and markets, grocery shop, pharmacy and other shops to browse.
You’ll love having the ocean right by the campsite!
Make lapping waves the soundtrack to your holiday… We can’t recommend enough getting in the water while you’re here! You don’t need to go far to enjoy the ocean: Radia beach is only 50m from the campsite. Make the most of it and try your hand at shellfish gathering before coming back to enjoy your spoils – you can find clams, crabs and prawns. And, of course, get plenty of swimming in!

There’s no shortage of daytime activities on Ile de Ré. It’s a fantastic destination for anyone who loves water sports or wants to explore and see all the island’s amazing sights by bike or on foot in any season.

Ideas of children’s activities!
Each morning in summer (6 days a week) at Huttopia Ars-en-Ré, the 5-12 year olds become Little Trappers as they enjoy fun activities always held out in the heart nature: treasure hunts, wooden hut building, Land’Art, and more!
There’s plenty of opportunities to get active at Huttopia Ars-en-Ré! You can use the pétanque and beach volleyball courts. A table tennis table is provided and you have the chance to have a go at soft archery! You can also hire electric bikes to go and explore the surrounding area.

You can of course read a book in the Central Lodge or play a board game or table football.
For curious minds, the Phare des Baleines site has two places that are well worth a visit, both indoors: the lighthouse, one of the highest in France, and the historical museum. You can also call in at Musée Ernest Cognacq, an art and history museum, for a glimpse back in time.
Wine buffs will want to stop off to taste some wines and spirits at one of the island’s wineries, while others will want to take the opportunity to visit the artisanal soap making workshop in the village of Loix.
