AND WHAT CAN WE DO IF IT RAINS?
If the weather turns bad, head on over to the Central Lodge to read a book, play some table football or relax on the sofas. The spa and heated indoor pool are also the perfect places to unwind in any weather.
Rainy days are also ideal for visiting some nice, dry attractions in the local area! Dating back to the 12th century, the Château de Senonches is a real must. Travel back in time at this site steeped in history, to discover more about its illustrious owners. It is also home to the museum of forests and man, dedicated to Senonches Forest. The interactive tour is perfect for families and features many exhibitions and workshops.
Near Senonches, there are plenty of charming villages to visit, along with their typical churches, chapels and collegiate churches.
Lastly, anyone who enjoys local products should stop by some of the local producers’ boutiques: the farmers, crafts specialists and winemakers will be delighted to have you taste their local specialities such as cider, black pudding, snails, honey and more.
