THE SWIMMING POOLS

At Huttopia Senonches Village, avid swimmers will be delighted by our two beautiful pools. The heated outdoor pool is perfect for doing a few laps on a hot summer day, while the indoor pool is ideal in any season!

A paddling pool area is also available for the little ones in the heated indoor pool.

Between dips, settle back on the sun loungers on the wooden terrace and admire the views of Senonches Forest.

FOREST SPA

Tucked away under the tall trees by the lake, the forest spa is the ideal place to revitalize both body and mind! You can relax in our wooden saunas, in the bubbles of the Nordic hot tub, or on the loungers in the shade of the trees… (accessible to adults and minors accompanied by an adult).

The Perche, steeped in nature and heritage

Just an hour and a half from Paris, Huttopia Senonches Village is a paradise of unspoilt nature, on the doorstep of the treasures of the Perche.

Between majestic forests, undulating hillsides, pretty hedgerows, pastures and winding rivers, unspoilt nature abounds in the heart of the 1,800 km² Perche Regional Park.

 

You can contemplate the impressive scenery and extraordinary natural setting along the twists and turns of the region’s many hiking and cycling trails. Here, the atmosphere is always peaceful…

The area around Senonches also possesses a rich heritage that you can explore during your trip with its charming villages, châteaux and manors steeped in history… A truly authentic experience awaits you!

Senonches National Forest

Located on the edge of the Perche Regional Park, Senonches National Forest is one of the largest in France, with its 4,300 hectares of forest tracts. Managed by the ONF (National Forestry Commission), this preserved, natural environment is best discovered along its many trails.

Fishing and outings in the forest

Fishing enthusiasts will feel like they’re in an enchanted land, with so many ponds, springs and rivers teeming with fish in the region.
The lush, green landscapes of the Perche and its majestic forests are fantastic for multiple outdoor activities. Between hiking, cycling, horse riding and carriage rides drawn by Percherons.

Château de Senonches

1 km

A listed historic monument, the castle and its museum are one of the highlights of Senonches. The castle is steeped in history, and its oldest remnants date back to the 12th century. It owes its originality to its keep and gate made of flint and Grison stone. You can learn all about its history through its exhibitions and tours. A great visit to enjoy as a family.

La Ferté-Vidame

14 km

Discover the impressive ruins of the Château de la Ferté-Vidame, whose history is full of astounding twists and turns! Before being destroyed in the French Revolution, it was one of the largest estates in the 18th century and continues to bear witness to the grandeur of that period. Its sublime formal gardens also feature an insect discovery trail. Perfect for an outing with the kids!

Les Mousseuses Wetland Forest

Not far from the ruins of the Château de la Ferté-Vidame, the peat bog in Les Mousseuses Forest is home to an amazing variety of plant and animal species. Wetland trees and peat moss flourish in the special decor of this unique nature site in the Eure-et-Loire.

Chartres

40 km

Explore this city steeped in history, known as the capital of light and perfume. Its cathedral, which features on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, is a must-visit! Wander through the mediaeval decor of its streets and old buildings, and then set off to meet its many artists. Every evening at nightfall, the city’s monuments are beautifully illuminated during the Chartres en Lumières light festival.

Château de Maintenon

Make the most of a trip to Chartres to visit the Château de Maintenon. Travel back in time as you explore this château with its unique architecture! Furnished entirely with period pieces and overlooking magnificent gardens, your tour promises to be full of surprises and anecdotes. A fabulous family outing, with game booklets available for children.

Mortagne au Perche

The authentic atmosphere of this mediaeval town is sure to win over anyone with a curious mind. Ramble about the cobbled streets of this old fortified town just bursting with character. History buffs will not want to miss Saint-André Crypt, Notre-Dame Church and the remains of the old collegiate church. A visit to Mortagne-au-Perche is also a chance to sample its speciality: black pudding.

La Perrière

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES TO DO IN THE PERCHE REGION

Adventure park

Kids will get their fill of thrills at NoLimit Aventure in Digny (9 km). More than 100 obstacles over 8 courses are open to visitors of all ages! Many other activities are also available on site, such as paintball, laser tag and more.

Cable skiing

The whole family can give cable skiing or wakeboarding a go at Fontaine-Simon Lake (6 km). A boarding experience everyone will enjoy!

Fishing discovery trail

At Petit Gasloup Pond in La Loupe (11 km), children will receive lots of advice to get them started with fishing as they follow the discovery trail.

Horse rides

Head to Les Ecuries de Saint Victor (23 km) for a delightful horse ride or to take a riding lesson.

Hiking in the Perche

The Perche Regional Park has a multitude of hiking trails for you to explore. Unspoilt nature and a wide variety of landscapes are just waiting to be discovered. Forests, valleys, pastures, ponds, unusual villages, and beautiful homes await you.
