For fishing enthusiasts, the campsite is located on the banks of the Clarée river. Classified 1st category, the river is abundant in trout, as is the Durance, the Cerveyrette, and the many nearby mountain lakes.

Cultural heritage
Once known as the “most beautiful valley in the Alps”, the valley of La Clarée has lost none of its charm.
Set out from the Huttopia La Clarée campsite to discover exceptional landscapes, pine forests and traditional houses in quaint villages and hamlets. Nevache, Val-des-Près, Plampinet, La Vachette, Le Rosier and Les Alberts are all well worth a visit.
With its historic Vauban district, the town of Briançon has a unique cultural heritage and is classified a City of Art and History as well as UNESCO World Heritage. Ideal for a day trip!

All in all, high quality camping experience, but a couple of glitches from last year were still unresolved (broke-down washing machine and wifi).
We stayed overnight in our camper van and particularly enjoyed the swimming pool in the hot weather!
Great location with beautiful scenery. Busy site with lots of atmosphere and plenty of activities. Tent was well equipped and clean. Nice walks to do starting from the site. Kids club and activities were very enjoyable.
